Who is Unity Foster Care?
Founded in 2015, Unity Foster Care is a small, friendly independent fostering agency covering the Yorkshire and Teesside regions. We’re a child-focused agency offering unparalleled support to both the foster carer and young people; including comprehensive training, a dedicated Supervising Social Worker, support groups, activity days, Foster Carer Buddy Programme, 1-2-1 monthly supervisions and much more!
From Support Workers to Supervising Social Workers, to marketing and admin, all our team are based locally – so you know we’re always nearby if you need a hand. Whether it’s to have support on the day you welcome a new foster child into your home, or you just need a natter over a cup of tea, we’re here for you.

Children’s welfare is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we have a dedicated Young Person’s Representative and Junior Council. They help us plan fun days out, tell us how we can improve our service and give us tips on how to welcome a new foster child into the agency. Above anything else, we think it’s imperative that the children’s voice is heard.
